Golden Handcuffs Review // “Women and Children First”
My short story “Women and Children First” (yes, named after a Van Halen album) is in the new Golden Handcuffs Review. It’s the final installment of a 4-story cycle/novella called Down the Shore. The others appeared in Conjunctions, Monkeybicycle, and a previous issue of Golden Handcuffs.
It’s a rather disturbing series of stories, unlike anything else I’ve written, and I have to admit that I’m glad to be finished with it.
