I got a nice shout-out on a cool blog devoted to literature in Baltimore, where I went to college.

Among the nominees for the Publishers Weekly Best Books of 2010 list are: Extraordinary Renditions by Andrew Ervin […] Ervin (class of 1993), who also met his wife at Goucher, took his “first ever creative writing class with Madison Smartt Bell and Elizabeth Spires.” He has an “Eat Bertha’s Muscles” sticker around somewhere.
